Hello again, and here is another YouTube gospel video. Who would've ever thought that a woman who only stands 5'1 and 3/4" would blow like an army? Pastor Shirley Ann Caesar-Williams, co-pastor of Mount Calvary Word of Faith Church in Durham, North Carolina started out as a member of "The Queen of Gospel" Albertina Walker's group, the Caravans. Now, 40 years later, the 71 year powerhouse has emerged as the "First Lady of Gospel", captivating congreagations and spreading the Word of God throughout the United States. The Durham, NC native, (who is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.) came out with this album back in 1997 called "A Miracle in Harlem" and in it, one of her famous shout songs came out that had Harlem shaking in its foundation. The song is "Sweeping Through the City." This song is considered a Southern Pentacostal song, with its quick tempo and fast paced lyrics. The main difference between Northern and Southern Pentacostal songs are in the instruments. Northern Pentacostal songs rely on brass instruments and organs, while Southern Pentacostals songs rely on bass, drums, and piano.
